After portraying an influencer in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, Ananya Panday returns as Bae in Call Me Bae, marking her web series debut. However, the acting, accent, and overall vibe remain the same – just like a typical Ananya Panday film.

We can say the web series is out of the box because the series shows us the world common people have never witnessed in real life. It only contains private jet rich people and their glamorous life. But we think it may excite Gen Z. Let’s unfold its good and bad points in this short review of Call Me Bae featuring #AnanyaPanday.

The Plot of Call Me Bae: Ananya Panday’s Web Series

Played by none other than Ananya Panday, Bella Chowdhary (Bae) was born with a golden spoon in an extremely rich billionaire family. After becoming an adult, she marries another billionaire businessman, ensuring her glamorous lifestyle remains intact, surrounded by designer labels and high society.

However, the plot takes a sharp turn when Bella gets caught in an affair with her gym trainer. Furiously, her husband kicks her out and cuts off access to all her wealth—blocking her bank accounts and credit cards. Now the story is all about how a Golden Spoon Kid will survive the harsh realities of Mumbai without her lavish safety net.

Call Me Bae Series Review

If you’re thinking about watching Call Me Bae, let me warn you here. It may have an interesting concept but the execution is not good at all. A Golden Spoon Girl facing the harsh realities of Mumbai is its main concept but it only relies on rich people. The show is overly focused on the lives of the ultra-wealthy, making it hard to connect with. though it’s labelled as a comedy series, you need a great knowledge of extremely lavish life to understand the jokes.

Talking about Ananya Panday, she is the best choice for this role because even the best actress can’t make it better. Ananya maintained her real-life attitude in the series, and that’s what the script demands.
