Stree is Back! Not to Haunt, But Save Chanderi From “Sarkata Shaitan”

Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao’s much-awaited film Stree 2’s trailer is now open to watch on YouTube. After watching it, our Stree 2 trailer review says only one word, “Mind-blowing.” The trailer deserves this title as it is beyond our expectations and serves a concept we have never thought about.

Now the people of Chanderi are in fear once again and screaming for their lungs out. But not because of Stree this time. There is another and worse ghost or creature in town, popular as Sarkata Shaitan, kidnapping young women in town.

Stree 2 Plot & Trailer Explanation

The trailer of Stree 2 begins with the heavy and impactful voice of Pankaj Tripathi (Rudra Bhaiya), confirming that Stree is gone and introducing Sarkata Shaitan, a new threat to the people of Chanderi. According to the Chanderi Puraan, Sarkata Shaitan is the headless ghost of a man who killed Stree and turned her into a terrifying ghost. He is destined to return whenever Stree loses her powers.

But the interesting part is that he is targeting women of Chanderi, not men. He is also an influencer who can change the state of mind of men. However, Chanderi town has a hero like Vicky (Rajkumar Rao) and a strong team by his side. Additionally, Shraddha Kapoor returns as a mysterious witch in a more fierce and badass avatar. This time, she also possesses the power of Stree’s hair.

According to the trailer, Rajkumar Rao and the gang will also pursue Stree’s help to fight this Sarkata Shaitan. The theory says that we are going to see this scene just before the interval. So, this time, Stree is not going to be a villain. She will come up as a hero.

Besides all this, the special appearance of Tamannaah Bhatia is not limited to an item song. She will also play a victim of Sarkata Shaitan, showing a glimpse in the trailer. There are also some rumours that suggest we are going to see Varun Dhawan as Bhediya in the film.

As we have said in the beginning, the trailer of Stree 2 is just mind-blowing and beyond our expectations. It comes up with a totally different story and concept. The makers didn’t try to stretch the story of Stree itself, which is good and absolutely works.

It is filled with various scary, enthralling, and laughing moments. The comic timing of Rajkumar Rao and Pankaj Tripathi is so engaging and relatable. Shraddha Kapoor as a badass witch is the essence of the trailer. Her on-screen presence boosts the thrill and excitement. We have also witnessed a developing chemistry between her and Vicky, which brings a big smile to the face.
