Hina Khan Diagnosed With Breast Cancer! Chops Off Her Hair for Chemotherapy Treatment
It’s no surprise that Hina Khan is considered the biggest superstar in the Indian television industry. Known for her iconic role as Akshara in “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai,” she is a household name that will not be forgotten in this lifetime. With around 20 million followers, she has a huge family of dedicated supporters on social media as well.
However, Hina Khan announced that she had been diagnosed with “Stage 3 Breast Cancer” a week ago. The actress shared this grieving news through a note on Instagram. Thereafter, today she dropped a reel that broke everyone’s heart, chopping off her beautiful hair chemotherapy treatment.

Hina Khan Cuts Her Hair for Breast Cancer Treatment
Despite all the odds and tough times, Indian actress Hina Khan is yet smiling, proving she is a true warrior. She announced her condition of breast cancer a week ago with a note on her Instagram handle.
Addressing her true fans, she wrote, “Hello Everyone, To address the recent rumour, want to share some important news with all the Hinaholics and everyone who loves and cares for me. I have been diagnosed with Stage Three Breast Cancer. Despite this challenging diagnosis, want to reassure everyone that am doing well. I am strong, determined, and fully committed to overcoming this disease. My treatment has already begun, and am ready to do everything necessary to emerge from this even stronger.”

She continued on the second slide, “I kindly ask for your respect and privacy during this time. I deeply appreciate your love, strength, and blessings. Your personal experiences, anecdotes, and supportive suggestions would mean the world to me as I navigate this journey. I, along with my family and loved ones, remain focused, determined, and positive. With the grace of the Almighty, we believe I will overcome this challenge and be completely healthy. A few days after this, Hina Khan shared a reel of an award night she attended recently. According to her, the actress knew about her cancer condition at that time. But still, she didn’t let her emotions take over her.
In the caption, Hina Khan wrote, his award night, I knew about my cancer diagnosis, but I made a conscious choice to normalise it – not just for myself, but for all of us. This was the day that changed everything, it marked the beginning of one of the most challenging phases of my life.”
So Let’s do some affirmations. We become what we believe in and I have decided to take this challenge as an opportunity to reinvent myself, again. I have decided to keep the spirit of positivity as the first tool in my toolkit. I choose to Normalise this experience for me and I have consciously decided to manifest the outcome I desire. For me ..my work commitments matter. For me my motivation, passion and art matter.”
“I refuse to bow down. This award that I received right before my first chemo was not my motivation alone, in fact, I attended this event to reassure myself that I am living up to the benchmark, I have set up for myself. MIND OVER MATTER.”
“I attended the event and went straight up to the hospital for my first chemo. I humbly urge everyone out there too to first Normalise the challenges of your lives then set goals for yourself and try to live up to them all along the way. No matter how hard. Never back down. Never give up.”

After all this, Hina Khan dropped the most heartbreaking of herself today. She cuts her beautiful and shiny hair for chemotherapy treatment of breast cancer. Her mother is standing by her side, breaking down in tears. But Hina’s intentions are clear, she is ready to fight this battle.

(blessing me) in the background, as she prepared herself to witness something she never dared to imagine. Not all of us have the same tools at our disposal to manage heartbreaking emotions.”
“To all the beautiful people out there, especially women who are fighting the same battle, I know it’s hard, I know for most of us, our hair is the crown we never take off. But what if you’re facing a battle so tough that you have to lose your hair—your pride, your crown? If you want to win you’ve got to take some tough decisions. And I choose to win.”
“I have decided to give myself every chance possible to win this battle. I choose to let go of my beautiful hair before it starts falling off. I didn’t want to endure this mental breakdown for weeks. So, I choose to let go of my crown because I’ve realized my real crown is my COURAGE, my STRENGTH, and the love I have for myself.”
“Aur haan. I have decided to use my own hair to make a nice Wig for this phase. Hair will grow back, eyebrows will return, and scars will fade, but the spirit must remain whole.”
